Receiving a filming notice or signature survey
at your home or business

Filming Notices

You may receive a filming notice at your home or business anywhere from 48-72 hours before filming activity. These notices are sent to inform you of the film activity and will include:

  • Dates and times of filming activity
  • A brief description of the film activity which may include mock emergency services, mock gunfire, or special effects
  • Details on any posting of no parking, traffic control, or road closures
  • Contact information for the production should you have any questions or concerns

Signature Surveys

Production may be required to perform a signature survey for certain activities, such as road closures or after hours filming. This signature survey gives impacted residents and businesses the opportunity to voice specific concerns with the proposed filming activity so that they can be addressed before filming takes place.

You may receive a signature survey on your door, or a representative from the production may knock on your door and request your signature. If they are unable to reach you the first time, note that they are required to make multiple attempts.

Access to Your Home or Business

You will always have access to your private home or business during film production.

Traffic on your street may be temporarily stopped for safety reasons during filming. When safe, production will ensure you can access your home or business.
